The BYD Battery-Box Premium LVS 12.0 12 kWh lithium battery is a low voltage storage battery. The BYD-LVS-12.0 consists of 3 45 kg LVS battery modules, the battery management unit and a base and cover. The battery can be used for both a single-phase and three-phase high voltage inverter. The battery modules can be combined with systems that work ON-Grid, with and without grid back-up, and OFF-Grid. A great advantage of these batteries is that they can be easily expanded to obtain a larger storage system, with a maximum of 24 kWh. The series connection at real low voltage gives the battery a high efficiency. The battery consists of a cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery that guarantees maximum safety, durability and power. BYD has patented the modular design of the plug, which does not require internal wiring, maximizing flexibility and ease of use.
A single Battery-Box Premium LVS contains between 1 to 6 battery modules LVS stacked in parallel and can reach 4 to 24.0 kWh usable capacity in one tower. Connect up to 16 Battery-Box LVS 16.0 in parallel for a maximum size of 256 kWh. Ability to scale by adding LVS modules or parallel towers of 1 to 4 modules later.
